Hi Riptide Families,

Tonight is the night—Northland Conference Finals! We are so excited to cheer on our Riptides as they wrap up an incredible season. Finals is always one of the most exciting and energetic nights of the year, and we’d love to see our stands packed with Riptide fans!

I’ve attached the final timeline for tonight’s meet so you can follow along with the events and have an idea of when your swimmer will be racing.

We have 49 swimmers competing tonight in individual events and/or relays, including an impressive 8 top-seeded individual swims heading into finals. We couldn’t be more proud of everything these athletes have accomplished this season, and we can’t wait to see them race tonight!

Important Reminders:

• 9 & Up Warm-Ups: 4:20 PM (arrive by 4:00 PM)
• 8 & Under Warm-Ups: 5:00 PM (arrive by 4:40 PM)
• Wear PINK! It’s Pink Out, so bring all the pink you have and help us fill the stands! Our cheering section has been a little sparse at times this week, and our swimmers feed off your energy.
• Everyone is welcome! Whether your swimmer is competing or not, we encourage all Riptide families to come out and support the team. Finals is one of the most fun and energetic nights of the season!
• Please have swimmers bring a sweatshirt, warm clothes, or extra towel for later in the evening, especially if they’re swimming relays toward the end of the meet.
• Stay through the end for the always-entertaining Coaches Relay!

The weather should be beautiful tonight, making it a perfect evening to cheer on the Riptides!

Finals are expected to conclude around 10:00PM. After the meet, join us at our Conference After Party at Quetzal Mexican Cuisine & Bar (6264 Lewis St., Parkville) for food, drinks, and team awards as we celebrate an incredible season together.
