What a week! Between the weather and the last-minute changes, we certainly had an eventful week. Thankfully, the forecast is looking much better for this week—just HOT! 🌞

Please make sure your swimmer comes to practice each day with a full water bottle. Staying hydrated will be extremely important as temperatures continue to climb.

Thursday, July 2nd - Hills of Walden

Our meet this week is Thursday against Hills of Walden.

Please declare your swimmer by 10:00 PM tonight so our coaching staff can begin putting together individual events and relay lineups.

As always, declaring on time helps us build the best possible meet lineup and ensures every swimmer has the opportunity to compete.

Double Meet Week Ahead!

As many of you know, last week’s meet was postponed due to weather and has been rescheduled for Tuesday, July 7. That means we have a double meet week, with meets on both Tuesday and Thursday. Evening practices that week are TBD.

Tuesday, July 7 - Rescheduled Meet

Please declare your swimmer by THIS Friday for the rescheduled meet.

Our timeline for entries will be:

• Friday: Declaration deadline
• Sunday: Preliminary entries sent out
• Monday: Final entries released

Conference Eligibility Reminder

We know many swimmers were counting on the original meet date to fulfill the three-meet participation requirement needed to be eligible for Northland Conference.

The good news is that we are aware many families may not be available on the rescheduled date due to prior commitments. If your swimmer was declared for the original meet date but is unable to attend the makeup meet, this meet will still count toward the three-meet requirement for Conference eligibility. We want to make sure swimmers aren’t penalized because of a weather-related schedule change.

Thank you all for your flexibility as we’ve adjusted to Mother Nature’s plans! We are looking forward to a fun (and hopefully dry!) week of racing.

Also a reminder to start peeking at end of year events & potentially RSVP’ing — banquet, little ripple races, conference, etc.
